EvilBay ... well, they insist I owe them around $100 in fees, which I don't. I haven't sold, or even listed, anything there in years anyhow. I can't remember the last time I even BOUGHT anything there. A decade ago, at least.

But Amazon...ah, Amazon. I'll use them for Kindle Unlimited, then browse local used bookstore websites, or head to Barnes and Noble, to purchase my physical books for myself, not just hitting up garage sales and thrift stores for good books to resell here. (Yes, I'm a reseller, lol. There are a LOT of us.) Why?

One, I have been trying to get a particular copy of a book for Mom for two months now. B&N can't even get it. Apparently, it got lost in transit by both Amazon and B&N. I can get the ebook, but Mom doesn't DO ebooks. I get the same trait, much preferring the hardcopy versions. But I do read a lot of ebooks for free with KU, and if I like the book, I'll go buy it. 

But two, apparently their whole signup system for becoming an Amazon seller is broken. I used to sell book on there, years ago, and we're talking so long ago that they were also going up on half.com, long before evilBay bought Half out and gutted them and then destroyed them. I can't get signed up again for anything, and I'm NOT doing yet another email account just to sell there. They send me the text code, and I put it in, but then get that I'm not authorized or the page doesn't exist for what I'm trying to do. Yet another reason Amazon is losing my business. I'm NOT fond of them AT ALL anymore.

I know loads of people shop with them, but I'm older and prefer my business dealings to be with companies that can actually manage to do the job I want at least 90% of the time. So I do a lot of shopping locally, even if it's a big box store like B&N or Home Depot, rather than ordering stuff from A to Z h**l.

The books that are on here are almost all done to also be on Pango, Mercari, and Vinted. Those last two have done nothing in the way of anything in two months, so they have until end of the year to get me at least one sale each, or they get the boot. I refuse to waste time on something that isn't productive. I've been doing well on Pango though, considering I don't have much up there just yet. There will be soon, though. And considering that I have around 400 books and 600 first day covers to set up, that's a LOT of stuff to get done ASAP, along with the bookmarks I make. There's no END to the ideas I have come up with, or bought to use. (I can make and sell the bookmarks, I just can't resell the graphics, which is perfectly fine with me!)
